We’re at our happiest

When your feet are up

Home is where you should feel free to explore your wackiest self. Where your phone connects automatically. Where Spotify shuffles your playlist perfectly to synchronise with solo dance parties. Where buffering is a thing of the past. Where Netflix asks: “Are you still there?”

This is your fortress of solitude. You don’t limit your imagination, so don’t limit your internet.

Got coverage?

Wave the magic wand to find out

Frequently Asked Questions

What are pre-cabled blocks?

A pre-cabled block is an apartment or business block where Faircom has already laid our Internect cables. In most cases, these cables are already installed at each unit, and therefore don’t require any installation. It’s just a matter of “plug and go”.

What is FUP?

FUP stands for Fair Usage Policy. All ISPs have a FUP or an acceptable usage policy.  At Faircom, we don’t use our acceptable usage policy to limit or curb your uncapped data use in any way (most ISPs do), but there are still a few rules and regulations.

This is because we have to uphold all South African laws and regulations around dangerous illegal activity. Read our acceptable usage policy for more information.

Contracts - what about the fine print?

You can cancel your uncapped package at any time - with only a 1 month notice period.

However, your installation and router cost to company is worked out over a 12 month period. So, if you cancel before the first 12 months are up, you will be liable for the outstanding months’ portion of these payments. If you stay longer than 12 months, your installation and router are entirely free.

My fibre installation is complete, now what?

Yay! As soon as your installation is complete

We should receive a notification from the installer and we will then contact you to find out how best to get your router to you.

If we do not contact you within 2 business days of the installation taking place - please give us a call! It means the installer has not let us know that you’re fibre live.

As soon as you have your router, simply plug it in and voila! You’re good to go!

The username and password for your wifi connection will be on a sticker on your router box.

Are your packages really uncapped and unshaped?

Yes.

We don’t believe in limiting your online experience. The speed you pay for is the speed you get. We will never throttle your internet speeds.

Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?

You can upgrade and downgrade at any time. These changes will take effect on your account at the start of the following calendar month..

Why is Fibre better than LTE and ADSL?

Fibre is the most stable and reliable internet connection available. It’s also the fastest, and the most economical.
