Wait, what? Internect is our very own in-house underlying infrastructure provider. Built by us, for us, because we needed a connection better than anything we could find. How long does it take until I’m hooked up?

How long is a piece of rope? Not long. We do sometimes rely on a few outside resources, but usually it’s around 5 days from successfully completing your order to being installed.

How long does installation take?

 If one of our external providers is installing – an hour or two, if you’re lucky enough to be in a pre-cabled internect block, it’s a matter of minutes. 

How does billing work?

We will send you a monthly invoice, in advance, for the coming month.

What happens if I’m connected mid-month?

 You will be billed pro-rata for the days that your connection is live. 

My fibre installation is complete, now what?

If your fibre installation is complete and we have not yet sent you an email you will need to give us a call. You can either collect your router from us or we can deliver it to you at a once-off delivery cost.

Is installation really free?

Yes, as long as you stay with us for 12 months.  If you cancel within 12 months of connection, you will be liable for the installation costs. After 12 month, you’re home and dry.

What’s the deal with routers?

The routers are free-to-use. This means as long as you’re with faircom – it’s yours. If you cancel your service with us, you need to send it back (in good-as-new condition) or buy it.

Help! I don’t have fibre in my area?

Leave your details with us and we’ll let you know when fibre comes a-knocking.

Do I need to be present during installation?

It is advisable, yes. Not because we don’t trust our installers and contractors, but for your own peace of mind.

I’m switching from another internet service provider, help!
