— WIreless fibre
As the ye’ old ads used to say
Uh, sorry … how can Fibre be wireless? And why not just get normal fibre?
Easy! You save big on ka-chiiiing. But do read on …
Faircape’s Wireless Fibre makes use of our incredibly powerful Internect Fibre connection which transmits a high-speed fibre signal from one of our strategic high-sites to an antenna which we place on your building.
This antenna then transmits the Fibre signal to the router placed inside your home. So you have all the benefits of Fibre with none of the fuss.
Easy, neh? In fact, we’re wacky for wireless!
Oh and …
Faircape will cover 50% of the installation cost. A Wireless Lite package costs R4000 – therefore you pay R2000 and we pay R2000. A Wireless Pro package costs R6000 to install – therefore Faircape will pay R3000 and you pay R3000. If you choose to cancel your service before your 12-month contract is complete, you will be liable for the subsidised installation fee – pro-rata’ed by 12 months.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does wireless fibre differ from fibre?
We use what we call a “high site” where we place a large antenna. This allows us to broadcast the signal from our high powered Fibre to a receiver on the roof of your building, and then to the router in your home.
What is the difference between the lite and pro wireless fibre packages?
Just like what it says on the box, although both are uncapped, the “Lite” packages are for home use (a little slower) and the “pro” packages are for businesses and gamers, those who need a high speed connection for uploading and downloading large files at high speed.
Why shouldn’t I just go for normal fibre?
Wireless fibre is a whole lot cheaper than regular fibre. It’s also pretty handy if you’re in a building where it’s easier to put an antenna on the roof than it is to dig up the pavement (not all Body Corporates allow Fibre installation).
